5. Mentor Participation Agreement
By joining the platform as a mentor, you agree to the following:
- Mentors are encouraged to remain active on the platform for a minimum period of one month to help ensure continuity and consistency for students. However, mentors may leave the platform at any time.

6. Weekly Schedule and Availability
The platform operates seven days per week, and mentors may choose the days and time blocks that best suit their availability.
- Mentors may select their preferred days from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- In case a mentor is active on the platform as a call mentor, they must commit to a minimum of 1 day per week and may be active up to a maximum of 4 days per week.
- On each selected day, mentors may choose between 1 and 3 available session blocks.
Session Blocks
- Block 1: 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM (3 × 25-minute calls)
- Block 2: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM (3 × 25-minute calls)
- Block 3: 9:00 PM – 10:15 PM (3 × 25-minute calls)
Each Block has three 25 minute calls, and you can select up to 3 blocks per day.
Mentors are responsible for selecting only those days and time blocks that they can reliably attend on a consistent basis.
The platform offers flexibility in scheduling; however, once availability has been submitted and approved, mentors are expected to be present during their chosen time slots and to honor all scheduled sessions.
Mentors should choose schedules that they are confident they can maintain, helping to ensure a reliable and consistent experience for students.
| Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3:00-4:15 ×3 | □ | □ | □ | □ | □ | □ | □ |

7. Booking Window and Availability Policy
To ensure reliable scheduling and mentor availability, the platform operates with a booking cutoff period.
Customer Booking Window
Customers may view and book available mentor time slots up to 5 hours before the start of a scheduled block.
Once the 5-hour booking window closes, the selected time block is no longer available for new bookings.
Final Confirmation
Mentors will receive final confirmation of their scheduled calls when the booking window closes.
| Session Block | Session Time | Booking Window Closes / Final Confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Block 1 | 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM | 10:50 AM |
| Block 2 | 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM | 1:50 PM |
| Block 3 | 9:00 PM – 10:15 PM | 3:50 PM |
Availability Lock
After the booking window closes:
- The time block is removed from public availability.
- No additional bookings may be made for that block.
- Mentors are expected to be available for all confirmed bookings within that session block.
- Mentors should ensure they remain available during all selected blocks after receiving final confirmation.
This process helps provide certainty for both mentors and customers while ensuring reliable scheduling across the platform.
8. Refund, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy
Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Booked sessions cannot be cancelled or rescheduled by customers.
- Payments are non-refundable if a customer chooses not to attend a scheduled session.
Customer No-Show
- If a customer fails to attend a scheduled session, the session will be considered completed.
- No refund, credit, or replacement session will be provided.
Mentor No-Show
- If a mentor fails to attend a scheduled session, the customer will be eligible for either:
- A full refund;
- Platform credit; or
- A replacement session, at the platform's discretion.
- Mentors will not be compensated for missed sessions.
- Mentor must inform admins in case they cannot attend
- Repeated mentor absences may result in suspension or termination from the platform.
Technical Issues
- The platform may offer a refund, credit, or replacement session if a session cannot be completed due to a verified platform-related technical issue.
Final Decision
All refund, credit, and dispute decisions are made by the platform and are final.
9. Standard Rule: Beginning of Every Call
The mentor should always begin by asking whether a parent is attending the call.
"Is a parent attending the call with you today?"
If a parent is attending: Continue the call with language and explanations that are appropriate for parents. This helps ensure the message is communicated clearly and effectively.
If a parent is not attending: Continue the call as normal, using language that is appropriate for the student and easy for them to understand.
The call should continue regardless of whether a parent is present. Asking this question simply helps the mentor adjust their communication style to deliver the message more effectively.
