I'm a fourth-year Data Science student at Heriot-Watt University, and I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes. When I was figuring out where to go, platforms like this didn't exist. I spent hours scrolling through Instagram, messaging strangers, trying to find anyone who actually studied what I wanted to study at the university I was considering. It was frustrating, and I just wanted someone to tell me the real story, not the brochure version. That's why I decided to be a part of your journey. As an international student, I've navigated every stage of university life from student residences to sharing a flat to living independently. Each stage came with its own challenges. I get what it means to uproot your life and figure things out far from home. Beyond the logistics, I've thrown myself into university life by joining clubs, volunteering, and building a portfolio in data science. I've had the highs of exciting days and the lows of overwhelming coursework, and I'm happy to be honest about all of it.
