I'm Kety, a third-year Computer Science student at Canadian University Dubai specialising in AI and cybersecurity. When I started, I didn't have everything figured out either. I loved math, felt like technology was where everything interesting was happening, and always gravitated toward tech but had no clue what that meant for my future. Three years in, I've done more than I expected: published research in progress, co-founded a startup, competed in national-level tech competitions, and landed cybersecurity training alongside professionals from across the UAE. None of that was on my roadmap when I picked my major.
